Neighborhood Scoring and Analysis System.

Users can perform urban insight analysis for potential or current intervention sites worldwide. DBF mines urban data to understand what services are available within a 15 min walking distance and beyond. This system gives the user insight into what land uses and urban features are present or absent, evaluating the quality of a neighborhood and identifying shortcomings and opportunities in accordance with x-minute city design principles. The aim of this urban analysis system is to help users in urban intervention decision-making as well as help build a strong business case for projects.

Step 01: Site Location

Type in your site location or drag & drop your .geojson file and press enter.

Once you have searched for your site location in the dashboard and are on the Map page, DBF Map offers 15 min city analysis tools to gain a quick and detailed understanding of your site.

Step 02: Urban Insight

Click on theĀ Urban Insight button

Result:

Urban data is fetched for a 15-minute walking distance from the marker location.

15 min walking distance is displayed as an Isochrone (The isochrone is the bounding area of all extreme points reached by walking for 15 minutes from a specific location).

With this analysis, you will be able to see what businesses and urban services are available for people to walk to around your development site.
